Fuse creates
participatory events using circus performances and walkabout acts. We
provide skilled performers, participatory circus workshops and
imaginative visual environments.
As creative
producers, we work with events organisers developing
themes and concepts into imaginative performances and visual
environments using a range of styles that include Spectacles/ Fire
Performances, Circus, Film, Visual Arts, Visual Comedy, Installation.
We
make our work where we live in Somerset
We make sustainable connections locally with local arts centres,
colleges and schools, local businesses and festivals-producing circus
and street arts events with local cultural organisations, developing
performance ideas around themed ideas with local colleges, organising
whole festivals and events for city centre managers and arts officers.
We also perform regionally and nationally
Last year we performed at the National Theatre, The Cambridge Folk
Festival, The Cheltenham International Literature Festival. The
Manchester Xtrax Festival.

The
company
Sally
Mann and John Lee have based their performance practice in Somerset for
20 years.
Sally has worked as a
community artist developing and producing projects with arts centres,
town centre partnerships, local councils and community groups,
organising festivals and events.
Sally has performed in theatre, cabaret and street arts both as a solo
performer and with the Family Outing and the Banoffi sisters. She has
also choreographed large scale fire shows and developed black light
theatre with Renegade Cabaret. Sally has trained at Fooltime,
Circomedia and the Engine room in digital arts.
John has performed in
theatre and cabaret shows that have toured in over 30 countries
throughout the world for the British Counci in major cultural
festivals. He has also written and directed productions for companies
diverse as Kneehigh, Green Ginger, Shiftwork and for local companies
– Fat Cat theatre. John trained in physical theatre studying
with Jacques Lacoq, Theatre d' Complicite and Keith Johnston.
Their work has now
diversified into digital and visual arts, installation performance and
site specific events in unusual places.
They make creative and
innovative performances that bring together practitioners from diverse
backgrounds. Their background in physical theatre and street arts
ensures that their work has a popular and accessible style.
